Precision Planting needed fast-turnaround branding for their Planter Upgrade rebate program — a seasonal campaign encouraging farmers to upgrade their planting equipment with Precision technology. The ask: CTA components, banners, and landing page elements that felt distinct from the main brand but stayed coherent within the existing Precision Planting design system.

Process

Working within the design system

The existing Precision Planting design system (built on Chakra UI + custom tokens) was the foundation. Rather than designing from scratch, I identified which tokens needed overrides for the program's warmer, seasonal aesthetic — primary color accent, button variant, and illustration style — while keeping everything else anchored to the main system.

This meant components could be dropped into any Precision page without visual conflicts, and the marketing team could reuse them across email, web, and social without additional design work.

Outcome

Delivered in under a week. Components were integrated into the live Precision Planting site and used across the full campaign — web, email, and dealer materials. The tight timeline was possible because the design system gave us a working foundation instead of a blank canvas.
